Hey, fair enough! I’m so sorry that you had a bad experience. My statement is mostly based on the cheaper fare, the fact that traveling anywhere in the downtown area is totally free for everyone (hence the “zones”), and that it’s easier to get a ticket. The buses also have heated seats, which is nice in the winter. And growing up riding the Max was dreamy. I love the El, but 6/7 of my past rides, someone has been smoking a cigarette in my car, which makes me kinda carsick. So maybe this statement was colored by those experiences. But you’ve made some wonderful points, and I will land here: both have public transportation options that include strengths and weaknesses! How’s that for a stalwart position?
